Nội dung chính:

Mỗi một ngày lễ có một thế giới riêng của nó. Ngày Halloween có thế giới của Halloween, nơi mà những con ma không sợ ánh mặt trời vì đó là mặt trời Halloween. Chúng ta yêu thích lễ hội Halloween vì mỗi năm chỉ diễn ra một lần nhưng Jack Skellington - ông hoàng của lễ hội Halloween đã chán cái cảnh một năm chỉ được làm việc một lần để rồi lại ngồi chờ đến lễ hội Halloween năm sau. Hơn thế nữa, thế giới Halloween đã trở nên nhàm chán với cư dân nơi đó.

Một hôm sau khi đi lạc vào Christmas Town, Jack lập tức bị cuốn hút bởi thế giới lộng lẫy của Christmas. Cậu trở về Halloween Town và thuyết phục mọi người rằng Halloween Town từ nay sẽ đảm nhận cả lễ Giáng sinh nữa. Và thế là họ tấp nập chuẩn bị những món quà Giáng sinh theo phong cách...Halloween, với Jack trong vai trò Ông già Noel.

Liệu ngày lễ Giáng Sinh có thể ăn mừng theo phong cách Halloween được hay không hay nó sẽ trở thành "Cơn ác mộng trước Giáng Sinh"?
